Padel Tech and Realturf Innovate at A1 Padel Sevilla and Catalunya

October 29, 2024 | Padel Tech

The A1 Padel Sevilla tournament, held from October 11 to October 20, 2024, and the A1 Padel Catalunya tournament, held from October 21 to October 27, 2024, took place on a fully customized court brought to life by Padel Tech in collaboration with Realturf. These courts combined striking aesthetics with top-tier functionality, offering both players and spectators a premium sports experience that enhanced the competitive atmosphere of the events.

A Court Fully Customized for the Occasion

Each court was crafted with a strong focus on the A1 Padel circuit’s unique brand identity, achieving an exceptional level of customization. From the signature red color of the frame to the A1 logo meticulously laser-cut into the structure, every detail was thoughtfully executed. A standout feature of this personalization was the integration of the circuit’s logo directly into the turf itself using a CNC cutting technique, creating a professional look that maintained top playability.

This innovation was made possible through collaboration with Realturf, leaders in high-quality synthetic turf, who ensured that the playing surface was not only visually impressive but also high-performance. Designed to endure the demands of intense gameplay, this turf provided excellent impact absorption and stability for players, contributing to an optimal playing environment.

Turning Sport into Spectacle

Padel Tech’s Tournament model court was designed to exceed basic game needs—it was crafted to turn each game into a spectacle. Inspired by the setups used in large-scale productions, the court offers structural cohesion, with precisely assembled frames that ensure solid construction.

In addition, the panoramic design of the court allows for immersive visibility for both live spectators and viewers watching the competition from their homes.

For the artificial turf, the Play Easy model by Realturf was used, manufactured in their factory in Crevillente, Alicante. With textured fibers standing 10mm tall, the turf was chosen in a striking red that left a memorable impression on spectators.

This innovative turf uses the Padel Easy system, which allows for weaving in 5-meter rolls and reduces the number of seams by up to 50% compared to conventional courts, creating a more durable and seamless playing surface.

Padel Tech and Realturf’s Commitment to Professional Padel

Padel Tech and Realturf share a common goal: to drive the growth of professional padel by creating facilities that raise the sport’s competitive standard. The A1 Padel Sevilla and A1 Padel Catalunya tournaments were a testament to this shared commitment to quality and innovation, providing courts that not only met the highest standards of the circuit but also added a touch of distinction and excitement to every event.
